Walk and Talk
Being in the Adelaide Hills, we are surrounded by some beautiful South Australian countryside that is loaded with many different walking trails. Getting into nature has shown to have many positive effects on physical, social, and mental wellbeing. If you are struggling with poor mental health, there is scientific evidence that suggests that being surrounded by nature helps with your overall wellbeing. Our Counsellor is a qulified First Aider and will carry a full first aid kit on the walk.
For our walk and talk sessions, we have designated routes that we follow in different areas. We currently conduct this service at the following locations:
* Mount Barker - (Starting at Keith Stephenson Park)
* Bridgewater - Mt George Conservation Park (Ridge walk)
* Lobathel Bushland Park
We are looking to add to our current Walk and Talk selection, so if you know of a great outdoors location that is easy to walk, then please get in touch.
If you are a dog owner, then you are more then welcome to bring along your four legged freind! but you are fully responsible for your own dog the whole time, and they must be kept on a lead for the duration of the counselling session. Savvy Counselling & Consulting can not be held liable for your dog in any way. Please advise the Counsellor before your session if you are planning on bringing your dog, so a dog friendly walking route can be organised
.
Note: Please see Savvy Counselling & Consulting T&C's - number 13 in relation to bringing your dog to a session.
